CATALÀ Among digital ruins and the parasitic waves of a looping world, Jean Peiry, alias Erreurjean, asserts himself as a sound spectre in revolt. Experimenting with sound for years, only recently has the Fribourg artist decided to take this project, situated on the borders of electronics, post-punk and noise, out of his private sphere. With his synthesizers, out-of-sync drum machines and poorly recorded samples, he intentionally provokes error and chaos. Sometimes whispered, sometimes shouted, his voice overlays industrial loops and raw beats. Like a liberation, his music is a cry of rage against the errors of the system.
